Walking into Café Chrystie feels like stepping into a well-curated gallery where beverages are crafted with care and creativity.

One of the standout features of Café Chrystie is its commitment to bringing a taste of Korea to New York City. Patrons rave about the unique offerings, particularly the Moon Walk Tea and the Peanut Butter Latte, as noted by customer Julia H and Sara Dillon. The moon walk tea is a sweet escape that thrills the palate, while the peanut butter latte is a rich, indulgent treat that you won't forget. The café’s selection extends beyond coffee and tea, also including upscale merchandise such as stylish apparel, books, and vintage goods. Reviewers like ally atchison highlight the alternative milk options, ensuring that each cup can be tailored to fit dietary preferences.

Stopped by to take a look at this cute shop. Pretty chill and stylish. The team is from Korea so they got specialized Korean tea. Highly recommend the moon walk tea!

stopped at Cafe Christie a couple of weeks ago for a coffee to tackle the day. the store looks more like a a tiny shop because the narrow interior is filled with a select amount of merchandise like tshirts, art, teacups and more. the back of the space is the coffee/tea area where the staff will make your caffeinated beverage. the space is warm and modern with everything being organized neatly and well-lit. my Americano was good and hit the spot when bc i wanted that hot coffee rush. the staff are friendly and attentive as they were having lunch when i walked in and stopped their meal to make my drink without a sweat. kind of them to do that. there are a limited number of seats inside (a small bench) but sometimes outside there's a small bench + a table. this is more a grab-n-go place or sip a fine caffeinated beverage while you browse. overall, this is a nice addition to the neighborhood for people who have simple coffee wants and like mixing that in with shopping for limited-made items. the cafe definitely fits with that Alphabet City vibe of creativity and being a little different than your typical coffee / cafe.

I saw someone in Alphabet City wearing a Café Chrystie hoodie, and it caught my eye! I went for a latte later that day, and was excited by their unique menu and merchandise. The peanut butter latte was a yes for me!

Stumbling new cute cafes around the corner of Tompkins Park. Art exhibition, book & some other stuff! Definitely more than just coffee. Highly recommended to check out Cafe Chrystie! Get coffee a week in a row now and still the same taste and consistent! All the drinks are delish.. must try everything.

Café Chrystie. Cute coffee nook. Mostly a to-go coffee shop (no indoor seating, a couple bistro tables outside) that also sells upscale clothes and art. The drip coffee is high quality. A true medium dark roast with chocolate notes, long finish, and little acidity. They use Variety Coffee beans roasted in Brooklyn, and sell a few different roasts and bags. Friendly owner too! Drip coffee score: 4.5/5. Everything else score: 4/5. Overall score: 4.25/5.
